Signing of Commercial Cooperation Agreement in the Field of Export
A commercial cooperation agreement in the field of export was signed between Abyek Cement Company and the Anzali Free Trade Zone Organization.
Following the success of obtaining the GOST certificate from Russia for the export of Type 2 cement from Abyek Cement Plant to Eurasian countries, this agreement was signed with the aim of:
Bringing foreign currency into the country
Entering global markets
Utilizing the railway transportation capacity of the plant and Caspian port
Boosting the economy of the Anzali Free Trade Zone
The agreement was signed between Abyek Cement Company and the Anzali Free Trade Zone Organization on 5 August 2024 in the presence of senior managers from both entities.
Another Step Towards Export via Caspian Port Complex Signing of Cooperation Agreement Between Anzali Free Zone Organization and Abyek Cement Company
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Anzali Free Zone Organization, in order to optimize the use of infrastructure created in the Caspian Port Complex and connect this complex to the national railway network, a cooperation agreement was signed between this organization and Abyek Cement Company.
This agreement, signed by Mohammad Sajad Siahkarzadeh, Chairman and CEO of the organization, and Abdolmajid Niknam Jahromi, CEO and board member of Abyek Cement Company, includes eight articles, eight clauses, and two appendices, and is valid for one year with the possibility of extension.
The main points of this agreement include bilateral cooperation and utilization of the capacities of both parties to develop exports and transit of products produced by Abyek Cement Plant through the Caspian Port Complex.
Turning the Anzali Free Zone into an export route for Abyek cement, facilitating administrative processes, applying support and discount packages, collaborating in the marketing of produced products, and appointing representatives to implement the agreement are the most important subjects of this joint cooperation.
During this agreement, deputies and managers of both parties were present and emphasized the need to utilize the capacities and advantages of the first free zone in the north of the country to develop and diversify the product portfolio and consumer markets for Iranian goods in the Eurasia and Caspian Sea regions.
